Learn moreThe lightest footballer to ever play in the A-League, Zenon more than made up for his smaller stature through his fierce competitive nature, his ability to read the game and do the basics exceptionally well, with Fox Sports commentator Andy Harper once proclaiming Caravella to be the “perfect player” to carbon copy across the A-League.
With a professional career lasting 15 years – with a solid ten in the A-League, Zenon Caravella – has been well recognised for his influence in football across several clubs winning Coaches Player of the Year at Gold Coast United and Club Champion at Adelaide United, all leading to an “Outstanding Contribution to the A-League award in 2016.
In 2015, Zenon Caravella hung up his boots to start Caravella Football Academy in his hometown of Cairns, which now boasts over 300 players of all levels aged 3-15 including our flagship program, “High Performance” (HPP) which has seen our players graduate from our academy straight to an A-League set-up.
